Dear Fellow Airsofters,
We will be hosting the 2nd TAGCORE Invitational Airsoft Competition “OPERATION SWIFT STRIKE 2 GOVERNORS CUP” on June 21-22, 2008 at the Cotabato City Central Pilot School, Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City. Premiere Airsoft Clubs from all over Mindanao are joining.
Each Team shall be composed of maximum of 20 players, 15 players to play. The individual registration fee of six hundred pesos (P700.00) includes 2 meals and a souvenir and fellowship night. Registration is on 1st come 1st serve basis. please confirm intention to play. Limited participants only.

GENERAL RULES
1. The competition is open to participants 20 yrs old and above. Participants from 16-19 yrs old will only be allowed upon parents provision of waiver.
2 Team composition allowable for registration:
a. Minimum of 15 players and a maximum of 20 players.
b. Only 15 players will be allowed to play at any given time.
c. Substitution of players depends upon the team.
3. Registered players will be provided with a wristband and an individual number and are the only ones allowed to play. Registration is strictly non-transferable.
4. Electronic devices are strictly prohibited during the game.
5. Each team will be allocated 5 mins for preparation and another 10 mins for the actual official game.
6. Each participating team will be provided with a room but only registered players will be allowed to stay in the room.
RULES of ENGAGEMENT
1. Boundaries. Players must stay within bounds while playing. Players going out of bounds will be considered hit. Eliminated players are to exit the game area immediately.
2. A hit on any part of the body and any extensions except the AEG by ANYBODY will render a player eliminated. Penetrating shots will count as hit, ricochets will not.
3. No coaching. Dead men tell no tales. An eliminated player must raise both hands and, immediately and expeditiously remove him/herself from the playing field to the nearest boundary without talking to anybody. Participants are not allowed to give hints or information to active players.
4. A player may call him/herself out for reason of safety and/or equipment malfunction.
5. Swapping of guns and ammo is allowed but eliminated players should not hand any items to a teammate. Instead, he/she may leave his/her equipment for his/her teammate to recover.
6. A player cannot call any opposing player out unless by silent elimination. In a situation when and where a marshal has no visual, the player can point out to a marshal if he is hitting a player wherein the other is not acknowledging the hits.
7. No BLIND FIRING. Shooting blindly around corners, over or under the barricades will not be allowed. Shooters must see the target or where the bb’s are hitting. Players can use a peephole but cannot fire their AEG’s while looking through a peephole.
8. Silent kills. POINT BLANK SHOOTING is strongly discouraged. GRAPPLING and/or HOLDING an opponent or his/her AEG will not be allowed. Knife kills are performed by lightly tapping an opponent. Asked to surrender or hit calls are performed within the distance of 10 feet (10 feet rule) and when the opponent has no equal chance of shooting.
9. Situation wherein a player is within 10 feet of an opponent and cannot ask for the opponents’ surrender because of cover and/or suppressive firing will be allowed to fire within the 10 feet distance with a maximum of two bursts of fire. One burst fire is three consecutive full auto shots. No overkills.
10. NO OVERKILL. Excessively shooting opponents when they cannot effectively call themselves out or when they already have their hands up strictly prohibited.
11. SPORTMANSHIP. Foul and rude remarks, lewd behavior, rough conduct, etc. depending upon the gravity of exhibited behavior will be reason enough for a single player or team for disqualification.
Marshal’s decision is final.
SAFETY AND EQUIPMENT[/b]
1. REAL FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES, and BLADED WEAPONS are not allowed in the whole area.2. Participants/Persons under the influence of ILLEGAL DRUGS/ALCOHOL are not permitted in the area.
3. Gun’s velocity will be checked using a chronometer with .20gm bb’s only guns not surpassing the velocity limit of 450 fps will be disqualified.
4. Gun safety must be implemented.
5. Tampering of chrono sticker is not allowed
6. A fumble area will be provided for dry firing.
7. Proper facial protection is required for each participant and must never be taken off inside the playing field.
PENALTIES
• YELLOW CARD
1. Any violation of the rules.
2. Arguing with marshal after a call. Complaints will be entertained through the grievance committee only. Only designated team captains are allowed to lodge any complaint.
3. Bad mouthing specific player or official.
• RED CARD
1. 3rd yellow card accumulated by an individual player throughout the competition.
2. 5th yellow card accumulated by the team in one game.
3. Intentional firing upon eliminated players and marshals.
4. Intentional destruction of obstacles.
• ELIMINATION from the tournament
1. Two (2) red cards by any individual.
2. Three (3) red cards accumulated by the team.
3. Assault of any form or initiating physical contact with other players or marshals.
GAME PROCEDURES
1. Teams upon arrival will be greeted by liaison and directed to their respective rooms.
2. Players are then to prepare for the start of the event.
3. When the announcer calls for the 1st two teams to play, respective participants are to report to their designated entry points.
4. While the 1st 2 teams are engaging on their game, the announcer will be calling the next 2 teams to report to their holding area. This is to save time and effort for everyone participating. Same instructions will be handed down to all succeeding teams.
5. Individual player who are not within their designated entry points upon the start of the game are disqualified.
